Facilities

 

The Barbeque Area, located behind the clubhouse offers two gas grills and picnic tables for group or individual entertainment. There is a great view of the lake behind the Clubhouse. The Barbeque Area is available for individual use or private parties and can be reserved in the Clubhouse office. Deposit required.

 

Located in the Clubhouse, our three tables are regularly maintained and refurbished. They are available for recreational play as well as competition with neighboring communities.

 

The Banyan Café is the central informal meeting place for our community. Open from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm daily, it serves full breakfast and lunch menus at competitive prices. The Café also caters periodic special dinners throughout the year and provides prepared meals to take home if cooking is not in your plans for the day. As part of your POA dues, owners receive a prepaid card to charge meals; the amount of the card is decided in the annual budget process. Cards may be refreshed by submitting additional payment.

 

The Café is located in the Clubhouse just off the main pool deck with both indoor and outdoor seating.

 

Cornhole is alive and well at Banyan! Come for fun and recreation. Our more competitive residents can join our Cornhole League during the winter season. Located next to the shuffleboard court.

 

Residents have free access to our state-of-the-art fitness center located near the main clubhouse. Our personal trainer oversees the safe use of equipment and assists individuals in formulating personal exercise programs.

The library offers donated books, puzzles and a quiet space to read.

Located next to the main pool deck area, you will find our Ping Pong table along with paddles and balls.

 

Banyan Springs has two beautiful pools and 3 Hot Tubs/Whirlpools.  Both pool areas have ample chairs and recliners on the open deck or under a shaded canopy.  The smaller Cabana pool is generally for those who want a quieter environment.  The main pool is located outside the Cafe.  Lap swimming is available at posted times and when the pool is mostly empty of people.  Water Aerobics takes place Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30am.  

 

Please be aware that specific SAFETY rules are posted around both Pool and Whirlpool areas.

 

Loads of fun for everyone! 

 

Located between the Main Pool and Fitness Center, our Salon offers professional hair care. The schedule changes each year and is listed on the Bulletin Boards and in the Banyan Banner.

 

Banyan Springs contains seven Har-Tru Tennis courts and two pickleball courts. The addition of more pickleball courts is in the planning phase. Informal recreational play that includes standard tennis as well as Alternative Tennis (for those of us who no longer run as well as we used to) fills most mornings at Banyan.

 

Our Tennis Pro is on campus Mondays through Saturdays to help those who want to improve their game or even learn to play. His clinics and private lessons are very popular. He also coaches our Men's and Women's Tennis and Pickleball Teams. See you on the court!
